The Greece-Italy Study Tour was organized and conducted by Robson Marinho, Ph.D. from Andrews University Higher Education program, with 21 participants. Seth Bardu was the spiritual coordinator. This tour gave us the opportunity to visit the following places: Rome, Florence, Athens, and Venice. We had the exceptional privilege to explore their cultures. We visited the university of Rome, Lapienza. We sight saw St Petersburg, Square, the Square of Miracles, the amazing Leaning Tower, the Renaissance gem, the city of Medicis, and the legendary Balcony of Romeo and Juliet.
We took a boat road in the wonderful gondolas of Venice. We then embarked to Patras, Greece. We visited the ancient Olympia, the temple of Zeus. We stopped to look at the Corinth canal. We visited the impressive ruins of Mycenae. We took a stroll in the ancient capital of Athens and the Acropolis. We visited the Kapodistrian university of Athens. We embarked in the Kusadasi Cruise and crossed Mykonos Island. We had an optional excursion on the Turkish coast then we stopped on the island of Patmos where John received the Revelation. Next, we visited Santorini island, called, "the Black Pearl of the Aegean."
