LEAD 778: Higher Education Study Tours
The following tours were organized by Dr. Robson Marinho every two years as required in the curriculum with the purpose to learn about International Higher Education abroad, foster understanding of student mobility, diversity, and intercultural communication. Although I was required to attend one, I ended up joining these tours two more times, which have infused in me a passion for internationalization and arose my interest in international students' experiences, needs, and challenges. As a result, I had decided to write my dissertation on international students and their coping challenges. Papers written on these tours can be found in the interpersonal and self-development competencies.
